200 Personnel of Transportation Agency Alerted During Blue Sky Carnival

The Jakarta Transportation Agency deploys 200 personnel to manage traffic during the Jakarta Blue Sky Carnival, on Sunday (10/27).
Those personnel are alerted at 34 points, especially at crossroads.
Transjakarta Route Blok M - Kota Diverted Temporarily"We send them from Sisingamangraja until HI Roundabout," disclosed Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo.
He explained carnival participants would use two lanes that are closer to the Transjakarta lane or separator. Then the personnel in the field are assigned to anticipate other riders who come from each intersection.
"They (personnel) divert vehicles that take the left lane near the sidewalk," he explained.
Aside that, as many as 10 units of tow cars and 2 units of variable message sign (VMS) car have also been alerted to the field.
"Tow cars here are focused on anticipating cars that break down and can cause congestion," he stated.
